Funeral services for Elijah Reed Swails, 65, 1712 Logan street (sic), who died at his home this morning, will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, with the Rev. J.O. Weigle, of Mechanicsburg, officiating. Burial will be in the Mechanicsburg Cemetery. The body may be viewed at the home Sunday evening after 7 o'clock. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emma Swails; four brothers, George, of Altoona; James E., Howard D. and Samuel Swails; seven sisters, Mrs. Sadie Buchanan, Altoona; Mrs. R.V. Kramer, Harrisburg; Mrs. Jane Musser, Mrs. Goldie Tidleman, Mrs. Mary Smith, Miss Grace Swails and Mrs. Rose Swails.

Elijah Reed Swails, 65 years old, died early this morning at his home, 1712 Logan street (sic). Funeral services will be held at the residence at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. The Rev. J.O. Weigle, pastor of the Mechanicsburg Church of God, will officiate. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg.
He is survived by his widow, seven daughters, Mrs. Sadie Buchanan, Altoona; Mrs. R.V. Kramer, Mrs. Jane Musser, Mrs. Goldie Tidleman, Mrs. Mary Smith, Miss Grace Swails and Mrs. Rose Silvia; three sons, James E., Howard D. and Samuel R. Swails; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William C. Swails; a brother, George Swails, and thirty grandchildren, all of this city.
